Hello!
My name is Roddy and I'm a wedding filmmaker from Lewes, East Sussex. I've been filming weddings for a few years now and I truly, truly love it. Telling the stories of real people and the most important day of their life is a huge privilege and I'm so grateful I get to do it.
You might be wondering why this site is called Everlasting Wedding Films, and not Roddy McGillivray's Wedding Films?
Well, for starters, McGillivray is a pain to spell, trust me. And for dessert, because I love working as a team on weddings and bringing along second shooters to help capture the wedding as best as possible. And so calling this Roddy McGillivray's Films could neglect the hard work put in by others!
Some fun facts about me are -
-As a child, we once accidentally had 27 guinea pigs
-I spent a year in Senegal
-Once upon a time I could backflip a bicycle
When I'm not filming or editing wedding films I love traveling, climbing, hiking, camping, cycling, and most likely with a camera in my hand during all of the above (okay maybe not the climbing).
